Collaboration With Other Attorneys

We are pleased that through the years many attorneys repeatedly have entrusted their clients to us for assistance with employment and labor matters.

In the pursuit of quality, cost effective legal representation, we welcome the opportunity to work with lawyers outside our firm in order to meet client needs in particular circumstances. Common examples of such collaboration include:

• Case or Client Referral. We assume full responsibility for a particular dispute or client through direct referral from another attorney. This may include matters outside the expertise of referring lawyers, or may involve situations in which a conflict of interest exists for the referring attorney.
• Co-Counsel. In matters requiring multiple fields of legal expertise, we work with other attorneys to bring needed employment/labor law expertise to the situation. This may include corporate sales, mergers and reorganizations, or executive misconduct, as just a few examples.
• Local Counsel. We have experience working with foreign counsel and legal counsel from across the United States who need employment/labor and litigation expertise which is more geographically proximate to the dispute.
• Outside Counsel. In-house counsel use our expertise as part of the full array of legal services they direct for their clients.
• Supplemental Counsel. When law firms require added staffing for employment/labor matters due to unanticipated workloads, cost control needs, or unusual case complexity, we handle specific representation functions. This may include courtroom representation or appellate briefing of employment/labor cases.
